Basic Membership Basic (individual) membership applies to a person with a disability, family member or friend. Members have voting privileges, which allow them to vote for Board Members, Board Officers, By-Law amendments, and receiving the newsletter. Membership must be current at least one month prior to the Annual Meeting in order to vote. Sponsored Membership Sponsored membership applies to a person or group that wishes to donate money to IEC and who also wants to vote for Board Members, Board Officers, By-Law amendments, and receiving the newsletter.
How to become a memberPlease let us know if you would like to be a member of Independence Empowerment Center. The membership fee is $5.00 for an individual, but at the Executive Director’s discretion, that fee may be waived.
